During the winter season cross-country, downhill and heli-skiing are memorable ways to explore the wilderness. Kittelfjäll, known to be a superior location for heli-skiing in Sweden, is located just 10 minutes away by helicopter. Gaemo Lodge is located just in-between Saxnäs, famous for its world class cross-country ski tracks, and Klimpfjäll ski center with 19 km of downhills pists and three lifts. Both locations are within a 10-15 minutes driving distance in either direction.
